First Blog post ever

I've never considered myself a writer and I never will. I’m the first person to say “I’m not good with words”. But I am starting this for a reason. I don’t expect it to be profound, only a way to share my artwork and some thoughts about it. I started creating art and experimenting around the time Instagram came out. It was a great tool to share the evolution of my work and my practice. It was a way to gain a following and fans. I have a lot of gratitude for the people who like my work and have followed me for many years. And who’ve seen that creative evolution and encouraged me. But there is a big shift happening in our country. We are living under an oligarchy. Tech bros don’t give a shit about us (us being the 99%) or our needs as people. They are out of touch billionaires. I don’t want to rely on their platforms to express myself, share my artwork, or connect with my audience. I don’t want to give them more money or attention. I pay for this little website and it is MY space. So I’m gonna share my work here. And process photos, and whatever I feel like. Come along it you’d like!
